Sonzera [Portuguese]: from som (sound), meaning a cool and/ or stunning sound (in the sense of music) – a kind of slang.

New for NAMM 2017 PRS proudly announce the Sonzera 50w guitar amplifier head and combo amplifier. A twin channel 50 watt amp with versatility at the heart of it's design, whilst maintaining a firm grasp on traditional vintage tone.

The clean channel is designed for maximum unfettered headroom, undrivable even at extremely pushed volumes, whilst the lead channel offers complete versatility; based on the circuitry of the clean channel, the lead channel is just as usable as a clean boost channel as it is as a full on gnarly drive channel via simple manipulation of the intelligent gain stage and output volume controls.

Both channels are equally designed for complete note clarity at heart; the bright switch and global presence control allow unprecedented tone shaping, whilst the on-board footswitchable reverb control is designed to enhance the ambience surrounding your notes rather than clouding them. In addition, the reverb is independent to each channel, adding to the mind-blowing versatility of this amplifier.
